Nana Fathi

Physiotherapist, BPHTY, Pelvic Health, Clinical Pilates Instructor/ Pelvic Fit Founder

Nana is a Clinical Exercise Physiotherapist, who completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 1996 and a Master of Public Health in 2006 from the University of Queensland. She has a special interest in both men’s and women’s health, well-being and longevity.

Over the years, Nana has developed a holistic approach in educating and empowering her clients to lead an active and healthy lifestyle.

Nana’s background includes teaching over 20 years of Clinical Pilates such as reformer and mat Pilates. At Physio One, Nana offers Clinical Pilates and Pelvic fit classes. Her classes are targeted to reduce chronic pain, increase functionality and increasing awareness how to engage and disengage pelvic floor muscles in order to effectively incorporate them into full body movement and daily activities. She also has great interest in training individuals in a one-on-one setting and seeks to tailor an individualised exercise program according to the client’s needs. 

Nana has a cheerful personality and seeks to put her patient’s interest first. She enjoys and looks forward to working with her patients to achieve their health goals. In her spare time, Nana enjoys travelling, being active in nature, and spending time with her two daughters, family and friends.
