Lissy joined the Physio One team after completing her Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) at The University of Queensland.
She works with a range of patients and is currently qualified in; musculoskeletal rehabilitation, Women’s Health, Clinical Pilates and in Dry Needling.
Lissy has undergone post-graduate training in Women’s Health; bladder and bowel health, sexual/pelvic pain and pelvic floor rehabilitation. Women’s Health may involve the assessment and treatment of urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse (i.e. pessary insertion), pelvis or sexual pain, management of pregnancy-related pain and post-natal rehabilitation.
Her nature is enthusiastic about working with patients to fulfil their individual health goals, and overall balance and wellness is a strong passion of Lissy’s . Lissy is passionate about creating awareness of pelvic health for females of all ages, along with educating and working together with other health professionals and Specialists.
Lissy currently works from Physio One’s Taringa clinic where she runs group or one-on-one matwork Pilates classes.
