Katie has been working in Private Practice Physiotherapy since her graduation from the University of Queensland in 2016 and joined Physio One in 2020. She works with a very diverse caseload of patients, with her particular areas of interest being musculoskeletal and sporting injuries, pre and post-operative rehabilitation, the shoulder and the ankle.
Katie lived in Hong Kong for 7 years as a child and Texas for 6 months on a Rotary Youth Exchange during her gap year. She completed school on the Gold Coast and university in Brisbane, where she now lives, and works for Physio One at their Taringa location.
Following her passions for physiotherapy and helping people, Katie worked as an anatomy tutor during her studies at university and has completed further personal development studies in Clinical Pilates, Introductory Acupuncture and Dry Needling, and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Manipulation as well as Instrument Assisted NeuroSensory Modulation. She believes in multifactorial, comprehensive treatment encompassing many different forms of manual hands-on therapy as well as active self-management through exercise therapy, Pilates programming and activity modification where appropriate.
