Damien completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Australian Catholic University with High Distinctions in all clinical placements and has since worked predominantly in Private Practice and with Semi-Professional football teams.
With qualifications in:
- Dry Needling;
- APA Level 1 Sports Physiotherapist;
- ASCA Level 1 Strength and Conditioning Coach;
- Certificate IV in fitness; and
- GLA:D Physiotherapist – Specialising in Hip and Knee OA management,
Damien also works closely with a leading Knee Orthopaedic Surgeon at Westside Private
Hospital providing post-surgery rehabilitation.
With a background in personal training and a variety of sports such as Rugby League, Cycling
and endurance events such as Ironman, Marathon, Ultra Trail Marathon, Damien has developed a keen interest in providing care for all musculoskeletal and sporting injuries, post-surgery rehab as well as lower limb, shoulder and back rehabilitation. He has extensive experience within Sports Physiotherapy, where he provided treatment to high-level football teams in the NPL and QPL competitions as well as for QLD during National Competition Tours.
Damien has a passion for helping patients maximise their functional ability in everyday life
and achieve their goals. He incorporates a holistic approach in his treatments, combining
client-specific strategies, exercise prescription, hands-on techniques and needling to gain the best results for his patients.
