Damien completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Australian Catholic University. He has since worked predominantly in Private Practice and gained further qualifications in:
- Dry Needling
- APA Level 2 Sports Physiotherapist
- ASCA Level 1 Strength and Conditioning Coach
- Certificate IV in fitness
- GLA:D certified Physiotherapist – Specialising in Hip and Knee OA management
With a background in personal training, Rugby League, Road/Track Cycling and endurance events such as Ironman and Marathons, Damien has developed a keen interest in providing care for all musculoskeletal and sporting injuries, post-surgery rehab as well as lower limb, shoulder and back rehabilitation. He has extensive experience within Sports Physiotherapy, where he provided treatment to Semi-Professional football teams in the NPL and QPL competitions as well as for QLD during National Competition Tours.
Damien also works closely with a leading Knee Orthopaedic Surgeon at Westside Private
Hospital providing post-surgery rehabilitation and is a clinical educator providing training, education and mentoring to aspiring physiotherapists.
Damien has a passion for helping patients maximise their functional ability in everyday life
and achieve their goals. He incorporates a holistic approach in his treatments, combining
client-specific strategies, exercise prescription, hands-on techniques and needling to gain the best results for his patients.
